OUR STARTING POINT · ARIZONA

Conservation begins close to home.

The Phoenix Valley is where we’re starting: practical aquatic education, responsible rehoming conversations, and the preparation that good animal care requires.

Early-stage · volunteer-led

REPRESENTATIVE HABITAT PHOTOGRAPH. NOT A RIOS FACILITY, ANIMAL OR COMPLETED PROJECT.

Small, local, and deliberate.

The pond-sign pilot and additional saltwater rescue capacity are in development. Host permission, suitable equipment and care readiness come before a commitment. We are building relationships and readiness before making promises.

A pond is a habitat, not a release site.

The proposed pilot would donate education signs to consenting developments. Each host would approve placement before installation. No host sites have been secured yet.

Equipment before intake.

Saltwater rescue readiness remains planned and is not fully equipped. Equipment offers, responsible rehoming referrals, and experienced volunteer inquiries can help us understand what is possible. Contact first; animal placement is never guaranteed.

Current Arizona rescue requests are reviewed individually. These project plans do not promise intake, emergency response or additional care capacity.
